New year, new beginnig..

So here we are starting a new year. I has been a busy time and as I would guess I haven't blogged much since I started this blog. I still continue with the crafting but have moved on to learning crochet. I have made a lot of hats since I started in August. For the most part hats are the simplest. I have also made scarves, mittens, butterflies and flowers. some don't work out so well others I keep making. my most recent project was a doll for my nieces birthday.
I will be trying to get more things posted as i get them done hopefully with links to patterns I used. Maybe downloading the app will help.

Valentine boxes...

Gift boxes I made for my kids and husband for Valentines Day. I used cereal boxes and a Mt Dew box.

Coin purse I made from a juice pouch and a zipper. 

Pencil roll....

A pencil roll I made for my daughter to carry her pens, pencils and markers for school. 

Passport Wallet

My sister is lucky enough to go to Cancun Mexico, so I made her this passport wallet to carry her passport and whatever else she wants in it for her trip. 

Juice pouch lunch bag.

My daughter occasionally takes her lunch to school with her and usually just uses a paper sack. I thought I would make her a cool lunch bag to use. So started the process of saving juice pouches and cleaning them. Then I needed a place to save them and before I got around to making it. This is the end result. It was put together kinda like a paper sack and folds up just like one.

This is one of many wood blocks that were left over from a project my husband was working on. I sanded them down and spray painted them a solid color. My oldest daughter then stenciled Merry Christmas and stars on this one.
